Terms and Conditions

Below you will find the terms and conditions of using the National Mobility Registration Service found at www.nmruk.org which is run by the National Federation of Shopmobility UK (NFSUK). You must agree to this and our privacy policy to register with us. Click HERE for our Privacy Policy

  • The NMRUK will store details of your mobility vehicle and your personal details.
  • Your details once entered are only accessible by the NFSUK staff running the registration service.
  • The police can request assistance with your details to aid them in the recovery of your vehicle at any time through the website.
  •  The NFSUK aims to respond to police inquiries within 24 hrs. (this may take longer at the weekends)
  • By completing the registration process you give the NFSUK permission to share your details with the police.
  • Registering your vehicle does not guarantee your vehicle will be recovered if stolen.
  • If you register online without a sticker it is your responsibility to ensure you place the sticker on your vehicle as soon as it arrives.
  • It is your responsibility to contact us after 5 working days if your sticker hasn’t arrived to get a replacement sent.
  • The NFSUK cannot be held responsible for any thefts that occur where the vehicle is not recovered.
  • No claim can be made against the NMR for loss of the vehicle.
  • The NFSUK will do its very best to aid the police in the recovery of your vehicle by supplying all details held on the NMR at their request.
  • Once registered you will receive a confirmation from both PayPal and the NMR service to say you have paid and your registration is complete. If you do not receive both emails you must contact the NFSUK on 01933 229644 as your registration may not have been successful.
  • If you do not have an email address please type ‘no email’ on the form or give your alternative contacts email instead.
  • You must have sought permission to use someone else’s email if you do not have your own.
  • If you registered your vehicle on or before the 12th of August 2018 at the £12 annual rate you understand that registration carries an annual renewal and that the NFSUK will contact you directly to request your renewal payment.
  • From the 12th of August 2018 the Lifetime fee will be in place, this means you will pay one payment only for the duration of your ownership of the scooter. We may contact you after three years to check the ownership status if we haven’t seen any changes after three years. This also applies to any lifetime registrations made prior to the above date.
  • By giving us an email address you are agreeing that we can add you to our registration email list and that you agree to receive relevant information throughout the year which the NFSUK feel may be useful to you. We will only add you if you mark yes at the bottom of your registration form where you are asked if you would like to be added.
  • The NFSUK will not spam your email and you can unsubscribe from the registration list at any time using the link in any email sent.
  • The NFSUK will notify you via email of any changes to these terms and conditions.
